There are many DEALER painted DeLoreans out there, but according to Joe Murray, the person in charge of painting at the DMCL factory (at about 16 minutes, 51 seconds in this video):

“There was never, never ever, a DeLorean motor car painted in this factory. Anything that was painted in this factory, I painted. And there wasn’t any cars, wasn’t a DeLorean car painted. Every car that left here was stainless steel.”
